Fury is shown off more prevalently in such tunes as No Sudden Movement, Meet My Maker and the angsty Boots And Blood, while those looking for a little more melancholy would be advised to check out My Nemesis, Question Everything and Diggin’ My Own Grave.ĭon’t expect Shakespearean wordplay or progressive song structures here, but it’s a solid dose of anthems for the downtrodden and the furious. Their sound is probably best summed up by the first single from the album, Jekyll And Hyde, which fluctuates between vulnerable and vengeful, while being an album highlight. Their sixth album Got Your Six follows their previously laid-out blueprints – plenty of groove, sing-alongs and figurative middle fingers pointed skywards.Īs a whole, the album lyrically swings between crying for help, and screaming in anger. FFDP maintains a punishing pace on Got Your Six, foregoing experimentation for a focused, tried-and-true metal attack.
